It is a way to try out establishments you may not have visited otherwise. But before purchasing the deal make sure you really are interested in it and not just buying it because you think it is a good deal.
Also, it is important to keep track of your deals so you can use them before they expire.
When checking out the deal sites, keep in mind what kind of gifts you are planning on buying for the holidays or other occasions throughout the year. Many of the sites let you purchase the deal as a gift. If you find a deal that would be good for someone you are planning on buying a gift for you may be able to save money on the gift or give them a more expensive gift than you normally could.
